i have a theory, that regrets are only scenarios that you had planned to play out a certain way in your head, but in reality the cards fall in a completely different alignment than you could have possibly hoped for. so you become filled with regret, wish you could take it all back. but honestly, what more is regret other than the outcome of taking risks? better to regret the outcome of something than to regret the opportunity to carpe the fucking diem while we can.
it's true what they say about how you only notice and obsess when the wrong things happen. so, sure, you can count how many regrets you may have, but it's impossible to count all the regrets that haven't occurred, but the risks that have still been taken, the days that have been seized, and the successes that result. if you buy the ticket...
you're gonna have to take the ride
its hard, for me when i'm so young and life keeps happening so fast for me to actually accept the gravity of certain things that happen. honestly i feel untouchable sometimes, i know it's because i've never had to actually fend off any real monsters. my life has been so sugarcoated
buy the ticket. take the ride. we're not even waiting in line, it's not like you are getting your chance to panic and freak out, no changing your mind. you're on the ride now, the bumpy parts, the scary parts, the exhilarating parts, the parts that you just can't wait for them to end, and the part that seems to drag on forever. don't forget about the breath taking parts, the parts you want to relive over and over and the part that makes you buy another ticket, to take the ride again.
